Leslie Steven Stacey

November 15, 1960 — January 29, 2021

Leslie "Steve" Stacey, 60, of Summerville SC, loving husband to Venney Stacey, entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2021 at his home with Venney by his side.

Steve was born in Matewan, West Virginia on November 15, 1960 to his late mother, Betty Ann Chapman. He was a 1979 graduate of R. B. Stall High School, along with his best friends Terry and Bruce Redding. During this time, Bruce would introduce Steve to the love of his life, Venney. Unbeknownst to Steve, a short evening walk that day with Venney would turn into 37 wonderful years of marriage.

Steve is survived by beloved wife of 37 years, Venney, his two daughters Elizabeth Bonheur (Darryl), Amanda Sapp (Jamie) and son Joseph Stacey. He was most proud of being a Papa to his grandchildren Ava, Aidan, Silas, Ethan and (soon to be) Harper. In addition, Steve is survived by sisters Lisa Rodgers of Summerville, Ginger Kelly of Sumter, brother Larry McCoy of Summerville, and several nieces and nephews.

Steve will always be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, tender Papa, caring brother and loyal friend to everyone.
