Lerida Tensuan Ong

Lerida Tensuan Ong, 68, of North Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Born on March 24, 1956, in the Philippines, Lerida was the daughter of the late Lolita Dolot Tensuan and the late Jose Tensuan.

Lerida loved to sing, cook and laugh. She made everyone feel loved and cared for. She raised 6 beautiful children on her own. She will be missed greatly by the people who love her. 

In addition to her parents, Lerida is preceded in death by her son Michael; her sisters, Rovina and Estela; and her niece, Bea.

Lerida is survived by her children: Monica Nangit, Pia Gutierrez (Elpie), Christian Nangit, Limuel Nangit, Ken Ong, Kim Ong (Matthew); siblings: Nenita Lanio and Felino Tensuan; and grandchildren: Matt, Kyle, Joshua, Dawn, Kiana, Enzo, Cody, and Yasi.
