Lee Alvin "Al" Sampson, 80, of Orlando, Florida, husband to Mayette Sampson of 50 years, entered into eternal rest on April 28, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born on December 19, 1940 in Midville, Georgia, Lee was a son of the late Ben Sampson and Pauline Newsome.
Lee led a very fulfilling life, inspiring those around him to do their very best and put family first. An avid storyteller, Lee never met a stranger as he had the type of warmth and welcome that people were drawn to naturally.
Lee’s legacy is survived by his five children, Mark of North Carolina, Denise of North Carolina, Angelo of New Jersey, Lee Jr. of Florida, Anthony of South Carolina, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
