Lawrence "Mike" Friason

Lawrence Friason, 70, of Charleston, SC, husband of Renate K. Friason, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

Born on December 18, 1948 in Washington, D.C., Lawrence was a son of the late Lawrence H. Friason and Myrtle Pumphfrey.
Mike was a home inspector, and was a member of American Society of Home Inspectors. He attended Seacoast Church, where he volunteered as a small group leader and a greeter. Mike also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Shadowmoss Golf Club.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Renate Friason; son, Michael Friason; daughter, Tracy Orndorff; stepdaughter, Laura Zagby-Dye; several grandchildren; and his brother, Patrick Friason.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, West Ashley. A reception will follow the service.
