Lawrence E. Potter Sr.

Lawrence E. Potter Sr., 71, of Goose Creek South Carolina passed away Monday January 15, 2018. He was born on January 8, 1947 in Cheraw, South Carolina to Cecil Edsel and Beulah Elizabeth (Chapman) Potter. He was a member of the Masonic McArthur Lodge 427 of Goose Creek, SC and was a member of the Omar Hillbilly Clan 82.

He is survived by his companion of 18 years, Brenda Reed Paige of Goose Creek SC; son, Lawrence E Potter Jr (Eddie) of Atlanta GA and daughter, Candice A. Potter (David) Greene of Jacksonville FL; two sisters: Linda Godin, Pat Loftis and one brother, Billy Potter all of Goose Creek; three grandchildren: David Jr, Thalya, and Dylan Greene; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Roy Potter and Bobby Potter, and one sister Sandra Potter Adams.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 20, 2018 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek from 2:00-3:00pm, where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00pm.
