Kyle Dempsay Hauff

Kyle Dempsay Hauff, 33 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023.

Born on November 7, 1989 in New London, CT, Kyle was a son of Bill and Pamela Hauff.

Kyle graduated from Stratford High School in 2008, and later graduated with a degree in culinary arts. He went on to cook at several lowcountry restaurants.

He was passionate about music including the band 311, which he had tattooed on his arm. His love of music started early when he played piano as a child and later went on to play the acoustic and electric guitars.

Kyle also spent a lot of time writing, including poetry, and enjoyed spending time with his family, including his nephew. Kyle would go above and beyond to make him laugh, even if it meant getting inside a fire truck tent.

Kyle is survived by his parents and brother, Christopher, his sister-in-law, Natalie, and nephew Jonah Hauff.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation – Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. The service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 following the visitation at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation – Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
