Kenneth Norman Sawyer

Kenneth N. Sawyer Sr, 84, of Charleston SC, passed away Tuesday, December 16,2020 at his home. A celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 19,2020 and burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Rd, James Island, SC. Reverend Reginald Baxley will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.

Kenneth was born 11/21/1936 in Marion, S.C to Burroughs and Bertha Mae Sawyer. He married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jo Whittington on 09/15/1956. He retired with AT&T. He was a wonderful loving husband and father of five children.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Betty Jo and four of his children, Wanda Baker, Kenneth N Sawyer Jr. and wife Siobhan , Ginger Summers and husband Joseph, Cynthia Smith and husband Wayne, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful Christian man and prayed the most beautiful prayers. His family looks forward to seeing him again in Heaven.
