Kella Ann Boothe, 81, of Mt. Pleasant, SC died, Thursday, February 16, 2017.
She was born on April 15, 1935 in Bluefield, WV to the late Alfred and Minnie (Harvey) Perdue.
Kella was a successful shoe store manager in Parkersburg, WV, raised her family and devoted much of her life to her church. She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. Kella will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her three children, Jackie Richard (Jeff), of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Karen Knight, of Lyman, SC, and Jim Kesterson (Emily), of Savannah, GA; three grandchildren, Brianna Kesterson (Shane Smith), Anthony Blankmann (Aime), and Allison Kesterson; five great grandchildren, Danielle, MacKenzie, Alex, Madelynn and Makaia; sister, Alfreda Perdue, of Wildwood, FL; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Snowden Kesterson and James Boothe; son, William Snowden Kesterson; brother, Joe Perdue.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 4:30 PM at First Baptist Church, 681 McCants Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church, 681 McCants Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
