Keith Justin Stewart

Keith Justin Stewart, 32, of Charleston, SC died on Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born on Friday, December 2, 1983 in Palestine, TX. Keith was a graduate of Wando High School (Class of 2003), Served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was an airplane mechanic at The Boeing Company. He enjoyed spending time with his twin boys, boating, fishing, and mudding. His family will remember him as a loving son, husband, father and dear friend. He is survived by his Father, Donald Earl Stewart, of Bedford, Texas; Mother, Ruth Ankersen Wilson (Joe), of Charleston, SC; wife, Larissa D. Stewart, of Charleston, SC; two sons, Parker Reece and Preston Owen Stewart, of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Brian Alexander Stewart (Jessica) and Chad Allen Stewart (Claudia), both of Bedford Texas; Grandmothers, Mary Klein Ankersen, of Fountain Inn, SC and Ruby Maynard, of Bedford, Texas; Mother-in-law, Alisa Cowsert (Tom), of Chesapeake, VA; three nieces, Vanessa, Ashley and Lia Stewart; and many loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Floyd Stewart. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 5 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464, with Rev. Harold Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
