Katherine Beverly Dedman, 75, of Moncks Corner, died July 27, 2015. She was born in Groton, Connecticut to Truman and Katherine Keyes. Katherine loved sewing, crafts, and was a collector of all things. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, William Dedman; daughter, Kelli Toney and her husband Troy of Nashville, TN; sons, Rick Alger of Brockton, Massachusetts, Steve Alger and his wife Lori of Jacksonville, Florida and Norm Alger and his wife Missi of Audubon, New Jersey; brother E.J. Smith Gales Ferry Connecticut;15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her daughter, Lauri Schmitz and brother, Sonny Keyes. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel.
