Katherine Beatrice Allen, 70, of N. Charleston , SC, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Born on November 27, 1948 in Rock Hill, SC, she was a daughter of late Franklin Brookshire Sr. and the late Louise Brown Brookshire.
Kathy loved to sew and was a proud member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA). She also loved to fish and golf and was very crafty. Kathy also loved her job as office manager at B&C Hospitality Systems.
Katherine was preceded in death by her son Brian Michael Allen and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband Patrick Allen (2-3-5) of N. Charleston, SC, a son: Jerry Allen, daughters; Joy Bennsky (Richie) and Kristie Allen, brother; Franklin O Brookshire Jr. (Beverly) and sisters; Brenda Jenkins (Vernon), Janet Starnes (Wayne) and Tammy Boan (Terry), 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at McAlister-Smith Crematory Goose Creek. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at 3:00PM.
