Karen Jean Gregory

Karen Jean Gregory, 69 of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Born on July 10, 1955, in Nashua, NH Karen was a daughter of the late Cecile Boucher Shislo and Klem Shislo.

Karen enjoyed reading, walking, gardening, and going to the beach. She was an avid New York Yankees fan. Karen volunteered at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Heartland Hospice, and Our Lady of Mercy. Karen was a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Occupational Health.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents.

Karen is survived by her husband Robert Gregory of 44 years; sister Virginia Prive; aunts Jeanne Skorb and Claire Boucher; uncle Richard Skorb; nephews Joseph Prive and Samuel Prive; cousin Sandra Broadhurst and many other cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 1, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3871 Betsy Kerrison Pkwy, Johns Island, SC., from 9:45 AM – to 10:45 AM

The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday May 1, 2025 following the reception of friends at 11:00 A.M. at 3871 Betsy Kerrison Pkwy, Johns Island, SC. The burial will be held at St. Stanislaus B.M. Cemetery in Nashua, New Hampshire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church 3871 Betsy Kerrison Pkwy, Johns Island, SC c/o the Paraclete Foundation.
