Joshua Hugh Deaver

Joshua Hugh Deaver, 17 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Born on August 18, 2005 in North Charleston, SC he was a son of Leslie and David Deaver of Goose Creek, SC. 

Josh attended Stratford High School where he was a High school Senior.  Josh was an animal lover and particularly enjoyed his eight chickens that he raised from chicks.  He was always hard on his older brother when it came to winning video games or wrestling as Josh usually came out on top.  Josh had a great personality, he loved everyone and everyone loved him.

In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his brother Bradley Deaver of Goose Creek, SC.  Aunts, Mary Bowers (Jeff), Debi Del Corral, Uncle, John Pridgen, Michael Deaver (Teresa), and Brian Cable.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Donna Deaver and numerous very special cousins who he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, the 24th of March, 2023, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. 

The service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023 at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

The burial will immediately follow at The Little White Meeting House Cemetery on Dorchester Road.
