A born inventor he developed products for some of the most well-known tech companies in the world, received patents for a variety of automated products, and designed a revolutionary robotic circuit board tester. Working his way up the corporate ladder Joe became Director of Engineering for a large Fortune 500 company, for which he invented a revolutionary robotic circuit board tester. Passionate about starting his own a business Joe raised the capital needed to buyout his patents and the technology he invented, and in 1985, he formed Integri-Test Corporation, which he grew into a multi-million-dollar international corporation. During his tenure as President of Integri-Test, Joe traveled the world promoting robotic technology, published over 15 technical papers on robotics, and continued inventing brilliant machines, acquiring an additional 10 patents.
Upon his retirement Joe began mentoring young engineers who today are successful managers at many multinational fortune 500 companies. He became Chairman of SCORE Coastal chapter and until the time of his departure was an active SCORE Volunteer for over 12 years, helping dreamers start new businesses, which was his greatest passion in life. He also proudly lectured at the Citadel Business School, was involved with the Citadel mentorship program, and a judge for the Citadel's Bulldog Business Bowl, which was a source of great pride in his retirement.
