Johnny Lamar Mason Sr.

Johnny L. Mason Sr. of Charleston passed away on January 13, 2017 at the age of 71. Johnny was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a very loyal friend, hard worker, provider, and was loved by many. Johnny is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Frances Mason; children, Tina Marie Harrison, Mary Ann Clinton, and Johnny Lamar Mason Jr.; siblings, Jack, Danny, Mabelee, Juanita and Betty Gibson; grandchildren, Amanda, Les, Kim, Courtney, Kaleigh, Scott, Blane, and “Turtle” ; great-grandchildren, Cole, Tanner, and Bailey Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17 from 11-12 at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 2501 Bees Ferry Rd., where his funeral service will be held at 12:00. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
