John Mickell Lesley

John Mickell Lesley, 53 of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Born on December 15, 1970, in Tallahassee, Florida, he was the son of the late Leon Lesley and surviving Mary Jane Bowers Lesley.

John enjoyed the simple things in life, like traveling with his wife, walking his dog, and spending time with his family. He rarely met a stranger, could spark a conversation with anyone, and knew how to lighten the mood with a joke.

John is preceded in death by his father Leon Lesley.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dana Lesley, his two daughters Kayla Davison and Mackenzie Lesley, his mother Mary Jane Lesley, sister Tammy Lesley, Son-in-law Ryan Davidson and his two grandchildren, Miles and Carter Davidson.

The family will host a memorial and celebration of life at a later date.
