John Ferreira

John Ferreira, 86 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Born on June 24, 1936 in Sopo, Portugal, was a Son of the late Laura Ferreira (Postico) and Jose Ferreira.

John was a man of great faith, a person who always worked hard, and dedicated his life to providing for his family. He gave to those that were in need and never thought twice about helping a stranger.

John is preceded in death by Jose Ferreira (Father), Laura Ferreira (Mother).

John is survived by his wife of 62 years, two sons, John Ferreira, Jr. and Dean Ferreira, John's spouse, Trish, his son Andrew and daughter Danielle. Dean's beloved friend Kimberlee, and their daughter Karlee and son-in-law Patrick.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation - Mount Pleasant, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 10:30 am at Christ our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.
