Jill Ellen Lameo

Jill Ellen Lameo, 66, of Charleston, SC (formally of Brick, NJ) passed away July 6, 2014. Jill was born February 2, 1948, in Lakewood, NJ, a daughter of the late Wilbur Frank and the late Lillian Weisberg Frank. Jill was a medical transcriptionist at Roper St. Francis Hospital. She enjoyed anthropology, reading civil war and American Indian history and traveling. Her family remembers her as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Rusty Lameo, of Charleston; one daughter, Shannon Mercado and her husband, Raymond, of Oceanside, CA; one son, Michael Lameo and his wife, Angela, of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren: Brooklyn and Keegan Lameo of Summerville, SC and Caleb Mercado of Oceanside, CA; one brother, Steve Frank of Farmingdale, NJ, and one sister, Robin Lipson and her husband, Marty, of Morganville, NJ. A celebration of Jill’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 9, at 7:30pm in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel.
