Jerry James Jacobs, 73, of Eutawville, SC, husband to Mary Ann Jacobs (Flynn-Filorimo) entered into eternal rest on September 07, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born on June 20, 1947 in Brunswick, Georgia. Jerry was a son of the late Jessie Jacobs Sr and Ursula Toole.
Jerry, was an accomplished maintenance mechanic for heating and air. Jerry loved his Clemson Tigers and loved cheering them on as well as WWE and Nascar. WWE was a regular Monday night event in the Jacobs home. Jerry enjoyed gardening and anything that involved being outdoors.
In addition to his parents Jerry is predeased by brothers, Lenard Jacobs, Calvin Jacobs, and Jessie Jacobs.
Besides his wife, Jerry is survived by 4 children; Jerry Harrelson of Walterboro, SC, Donald Jacobs (Angie) of Summerville, SC, James Jacobs (Tanisha) of Kennesaw, GA and Gayle Munn (Mark) of Goose Creek, SC. Jerry was a proud grandfather of 3; Carrie Culp (Matthew) of Cottageville, SC, Dylan Harley of Columbia, SC and Destiny Jacobs of Summerville, SC. He was also proud of his two great-grandchildren; Peyson Culp and Paxton Culp of Cottageville, SC. Jerry is also survived by brothers and sisters; Joe Jacobs of Waynesville, GA, Pete Goolsby of Waynesville, GA, Linda Johnson (Ronnie) of Baxley, GA, Donna Harrison (Doug) of Nahunta, GA and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation Chapel located at 869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
The service will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation Chapel. The burial will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3:45 PM at Plantation Memorial Gardens located at 3345 S Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
