Jeffery Jarva Chapman

Jeffrey Jarva Chapman, 47, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on May 28, 2019.
He was born on April 27, 1972 in Washington DC, the son of Carolyn Jarva and the late Dennis Chapman.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Chapman.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Chapman of Mount Pleasant, SC; and their children Jack and Alexis Chapman of Mount Pleasant, SC; his mother, Carolyn Chapman of Edgewater, MD; his sister Kristin Chapman of Annapolis, MD.
Jeff was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where he was a member of the lacrosse team. He was most recently the Director of Distribution and Delivery Operations - Eastern Region for The Wall Street Journal.
He enjoyed golf, traveling, tennis, coaching lacrosse, and cheering on the Buckeyes, Browns, and Washington Capitals. His most treasured time was spent with his children and wife. The memories he left, will live on with his family and friends forever.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 5 PM to 7 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Mt Pleasant, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11 AM at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3222 Middle St, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.
An inurnment in Annapolis, MD will be held at a later date.
