Jeanna Shon Abbott

Jeanna Shon Abbott, 52 of Moncks Corner, SC, wife of 33 years to Ricky Abbott, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Shon was born on April 23, 1968 in Charleston, SC to John L Altman and Dorothy Jean Anderson Altman.

Shon attended Stratford High School. Shon loved her family. More than anything in this world she loved spending time with her grandbabies and her family. She was very giving and loving toward everyone she met. She could make you laugh and always had a big smile on her face.

Survivors in addition to her parents and husband are a daughter, Ashley Abbott Zitnick (Ryan) of Savannah, GA, a son Josh Abbott (Nicole) of Goose Creek, SC. Six grandchildren, Blake, Adam, Landon, Allison, Brycen, and Hensley. And her beloved dogs, Jesse and Lexie. A sister, Cindy Sandlin (Daniel), of Moncks Corner, SC a brother, Stacey Altman (Sandy) of Goose Creek, SC and a niece, Elaine Altman Swinton (Jay) of Bonneau, SC. A special nephew, Isaac "Hambone" Howard of Moncks Corner, SC.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 6pm - 8pm at the McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation Chapel, 869 St James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. There will be a service Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1pm at Greater Heights Church of God of Prophecy, 2625 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner, SC.
