Jean Elizabeth Suter

Jean Elizabeth Suter, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the age of 79.

Born May 15, 1944, in Monticello, NY, Jean was a daughter of the late Kathryn Case (Murran) and Arthur Case. 

 Jean graduated from Monticello High School in 1961 and attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.  In 1990, Jean and her husband Fred relocated from Hopewell Junction, New York to Mount Pleasant SC where she worked for several years as a volunteer coordinator for the American Red Cross. Jean and Fred resided in South Carolina for the remainder of her life.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Kathryn Case, a sister Carol Burns and a daughter Kimberly Phillips Davis.

Jean is survived by her husband Frederick Suter, daughter Lori Sikora and her husband Edward of Westfield, Indiana, step-daughter Corina Aschenbrenner and her husband Randy of North Charleston, South Carolina, step-son Emile Suter and his wife Danielle of Rhinebeck, New York, three granddaughters Casey and Erin Derieux of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Morgan Suter of Rhinebeck, New York, two grandsons Michael and Matthew Suter of Rhinebeck, New York and several nieces and nephews.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
