Jean Elizabeth Foley

Jean Elizabeth Foley, age 97 of Mt. Pleasant, SC, formerly of Rockville Centre, NY. Passed away on January 1, 2023.She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Foley.

Jean was the loving mother of Maureen Carmody (Brian), Richard Foley (Gabrielle, deceased) Barbara Ferrigno (Peter) and Susan Hopkins (William). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Michael, Megan (Jim), Lauren (Evan), Genevieve, Michael (Christa), Allison (Brian), Kristen, Robert, Andrea, William, Sean and 11 great-grandchildren and a dear sister-in-law to Connie Foley.

Jean was devoted to her family and cherished the friendships she has made through her involvement in St. Agnes Parish Rockville Centre, Bridge Club, Malibu Beach Club and her job at ABC-TV.

Jean relocated to South Carolina to be close to her children. She enjoyed the blessing of new friendships made at The Palms of Mt. Pleasant.

A visitation will be on Sunday January 8, 2023 from 3pm to 5pm at The McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Rd. Mt. Pleasant, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday January 9, 2023, at 10:30 am at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Dr, Mt. Pleasant, SC.

There will be services for Jean in New York at Macken Mortuary, Rockville Centre, NY on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9pm
