Janet Marie Ingle Martineau, 73, of Moncks Corner died Friday morning, September 24, 2021 at Roper Hospital downtown.
Mrs. Martineau was born December 13, 1947 to the late Alta Marie Wood and late Clyde Leslie Wood.
She was a hairdresser for 20 years and in the trucking industry for 21 years. She was passionate about her work and her family. She was a believer in Christ, as well as a devoted mother and grandmother to not only her own biological family, but to many others who called her Mom, Auntie or Nana.
Surviving are her sons; Trey Medeiros of Ladson, Richard Martineau (Shaun) of Riverside California, and Michael Echternkamp (Wendy) of Sequim, WA; daughters Alicia Hanna (Joe) of Ladson and Erika Sjoquist of Savannah, GA; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Martineau was predeceased by her father and mother; brother Gary Ingle; husband Ronald Martineau.
A visitation and viewing will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, September 29, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, followed by a memorial service at 7pm conducted by Pastor Ric Edgar.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made to Reality Church, PO Box 302, Goose Creek, SC 29445, where they attended and served.
