Jane Long Tee, 66, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. She was born on Saturday, June 12, 1948 in Vietnam, to the late Khoan Huynh and the late Giao Long. Jane came to the United States in 1979. She was a restaurant owner and attended Chinese Christian Church of Greater Charleston. She was a member of the Chinese Mama Dancing Group. She enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, listening to classical, gospel music and Chinese folk songs. Her family remembers her as an honest, smart and strong woman with a very soft heart, always willing to help. Jane is survived by her husband of 25 years, Pin Pin Tee, of Charleston; five sisters: Yugwei Long of Hong Kong, Yuhwan Lam of Charleston, Yuchiong Long of Los Angeles, Yuling Long of Los Angeles and Yuping Long of Los Angeles and four brothers: Tang Long of Summerville, Chenhai Long of Germany, Chenhui Long of San Francisco and Chenjiang Long of Los Angeles. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 6pm to 8pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel. A funeral service will be held at Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street, Charleston, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 2pm, with Dr. Angello Lin officiating.
