Jamie M. Sicard, 50, of Charleston, SC, husband to Adrianne D. Sicard (Sprovero) of (11) years, entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2020.
Born on July 21, 1969, in Town of Montague, MA, Jamie was the son of Paul E. Sicard and Carole A. (Noga) Sicard. After graduating from high school, Jamie attended Norwich University in Vermont, which led to his service in the US Coast Guard. Stationed in Charleston, after his service was completed, he obtained his BS in Nursing. He later finished his Master's degree in clinical nurse leadership and served the veteran community at the Ralph Johnson VA.
Jamie's life was defined by his time in service and his time serving others. His passion for nursing arose from a selfless desire to continue to serve and deep caring for others. He is loved by all he served with both in the military and the medical community. Aside from his professional career, Jamie was fiercely committed to education, his church family and giving back to the community.
Jamie is also a much-loved husband and father to his sons. His commitment to his wife and children was immeasurable. Jamie was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma in 2012 and fought to the end to have quality time with his family. He fought valiantly and selflessly, just as in all other aspects of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Sicard. Besides his wife, Adrianne, Jamie is survived by his beloved sons, Grey and Reeves, his much-loved in-law, Ron and Stacy Sprovero, his uncle, Terry Sicard, his mother, and sister.
