James Terry Wauford

James Terry Wauford, 71, of Hollywood, passed away May 18, 2017.
Born in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late James and Edith Wauford and husband to the late Glenda Platt Wauford.
He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and took a position with DuPont. He worked for DuPont for over thirty years retiring as a Marketing Consultant. Terry was a caretaker and worked hard to provide for his children and provide for his family.
He is survived by his children, Yvette Jolly and husband, William of West Ashley, Heather Umphlett and husband, William of Moncks Corner, Donna Moody and husband Jim of West Ashley and Teresa Scott and husband, Mike of Spartanburg; brother, Jerry Wauford and wife Veronica of Richmond, VA. Terry is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MUSC Storm Eye Institute, 167 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425.
