James "Jimmy" Shoemaker

James C. "Jimmy" Shoemaker, 64 of Bonneau, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

A visitation for Jimmy will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 am.

James was born on July 31, 1960, in Hagerstown, MD. He was the son of the late Rachel Irene Feigley and Carroll Henry Shoemaker.

James graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1978. He was a truck driver for many years and traveled to all but two states. He also enjoyed working for NW White. He loved to spend time in the Blue Ridge mountains and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll Henry Shoemaker and Rachel Irene Feigley, and his sister-in-law, Shirley Elizabeth Shoemaker.

James is survived by his wife, Peggy Shoemaker; his daughter, Ashley Rene'e Shoemaker; and brothers, Ronald Lee Shoemaker and Terry Lee Shoemaker (Patty).
