James "Jim" William Conroy

James "Jim" William Conroy, 59, of Goose Creek , South Carolina passed away, Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born on September 16, 1958 in Landover, Maryland to Donald Conroy and Rose (Smith) Aldridge. He loved spending his time with family and was an avid hunter that enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. He also took great pride in his business, Jim's Towing. Jim was also a member of The Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Conroy; his children, Elizabeth Conroy and Jimmy Conroy (Erin); grandchildren, Ryan Gilliard, Zachary Gilliard, William Conroy, Kaylee Gilliard, and Autumn Conroy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Rose; as well as his daughter, Melissa Conroy Dunn.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 PM at The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, 526 College Park Road, Ladson, SC 29456.

The Celebration of Life Services will be held in the same location, immediately following, from 2:00-3:00 PM. A burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
