James Robert Elam, 68, of Cross, SC passed Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born January 8, 1950 in Mexico, Missouri to Everette and Jane (Dubray) Elam who preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Elam; daughters, Christi Threatt (Jason) and Kelly Rucker (Chris); grandchildren, JayJ, Nathan, and Cullen Threatt, Isabella and Reagan Rucker; great grandchildren, Lucille and Molly Threatt; Siblings, Judy Kay Saffern (David), Marla Ambrosia (Bill), Dulcye Tillman (Tony), and Kim Elam (Ronda); as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on May 4, 2018 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC, 29445. The Celebration of Life Service will be held May 4, 2018 at 7:00PM at the same location.
Flowers or memorial donations may be made through the funeral home.
