James Vincent Angelico

James Vincent Angelico, 82, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Born on January 25, 1941, in Manhattan, NY, he was a son of the late Helen Dunn Angelico and Salvatore Angelico.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Jim gave his country over 30 years of dedicated service before retiring from the United States Air Force in 1989.  He was an avid golfer and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by siblings, John and Anthony Angelico.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Vera Grainger Angelico; children, Vincent J. Angelico and Lisa C. Angelico Cox; three granddaughters; and his nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any of the research efforts underway or planned at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Private services will be held at a later date.
