James Alexander Hamilton

James Alexander Hamilton, 52, of Goose Creek, passed away February 29, 2016. Born in Lahore, Pakistan to Dorothy Hamilton and the late Buford Lindsay Hamilton. He graduated from Wheaton College, Illinois, where he met his wife, Nanette. Most recently James was working as a salesperson at Hoover Motors in Moncks Corner. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding his Harley, camping in the mountains, or just relaxing watch his favorite football teams. He was an active member of Peace Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Nanette Hamilton; children, Kara, Rosie, and Nathanael Hamilton; sisters, Jane Edwards of Virginia, Mary Mosier of South Hills Virginia, and Margaret Haynes of Statesville, NC; and his mother Dorothy Hamilton of Statesville, NC. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A funeral service will be held, Friday, March 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm, at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
