Jacquelyn Miller Axson

Jacque’ was a devoted wife and stay at home mom who enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling, and reading. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the West Columbia Church of God. She loved seeing and spending time with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed time spent with her great-grandchildren.
Jacque’ was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Marilyn Rineheart, her 1st husband of seven years, Frank Ray Mitchen, and her 2nd husband of 48 years, Frank Ray Axson(“Pete”)
She is survived by her daughter, Dara Lynn Rhoney (Calvin Wade), her son, Kevin Wray Mitchem, her step-daughter, Paulette A. Thompson, her grandchildren, Ashley M. Wilson (Marty), Bradley A. Shirer, Patrick Thompson, Lorna R. Brooks (Robert) and Calvin W. Rhoney III and her great grandchildren, Kaden W. Wilson, Madyson Wilson, Tripp Books, and Reed Brooks.
There will be a graveside memorial service held on Friday, December 28th at 11:00am at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St, West Columbia, SC 29170
The family would especially like to thank Lorraine Hopkins, Lessie Lykes, and Starr Beach for the care and love they gave Jacque’ over the last couple of years.
