Jack Wilson

Jack Patrick Wilson, born on July 15, 1966, in Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, on January 19, 2025. Surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.

Jack's life was a symphony of devotion and connection. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cara. Together they built a family that became Jack's greatest pride and joy. He cherished his family-Daughters Chelsey (and her husband Kolby) and Lauren (and her fiancé Dylan), and his Son Conner-each of whom carried forward pieces of Jack's unwavering love and strength. He is also known to be Pop Pop to his precious granddaughter Saylor, whose laughter and presence brought him boundless happiness.

Jack is also lovingly remembered by his two sisters, Mary Pennington and Carol "Sissy" Gilbert as well as his brother, Monty Wilson. Their shared memories are woven with love, laughter, and the bonds of family.

Well known for his hardworking spirit that never wavered and a magnetic personality that you couldn't resist. Jack possessed an energy that could light up any room. Along with his charming smile, he had an infectious laughter, that spread joy wherever it echoed. Those fortunate enough to cross paths with Jack were often struck by his charisma-a quality so vibrant it made him truly unforgettable.

Though words can only begin to capture the fullness of a life so deeply lived and widely loved, Jack leaves behind a legacy etched into the hearts of all who knew him. May the memory of his laughter and voice echo in moments of quiet reflection; may the warmth of his love bring solace to those he held dear; may we all carry forward the lessons he taught us about living fully and loving fiercely.

Jack "Pop Pop" will be missed beyond measure but remembered always with love.

A visitation for Jack will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11:00 am until a service starts at 1:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation Goose Creek Chapel.
