Jack Montgomery

Jack Elliott Montgomery Jr., 65 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

Born on November 26, 1956 in Washington, D.C., Jack was a son of the late Florence Montgomery (Valentine) and Jack Montgomery, Sr..

Jack, like many in his family, was a lifelong Firefighter holding every officer position throughout his career. Prominent positions included; Chief - Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department, Assistant Chief of Training - Naval District of Washington, and the Fire Chief at the Charleston Naval Weapons Station where he eventually retired.

In addition to Jack's parents, Jack is also preceded in death by his brothers Mark Allen Montgomery, and Gary Lee Montgomery.

Jack is survived by his wife Syrena Ericson and nephew Nathan Montgomery, and his nieces Amanda Montgomery and Amber Montgomery.

Arrangements for a celebration of life will be made at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Syrena Ericson to offset funeral costs.
