Irene Louise Parmenter, 98, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Born on March 05, 1923, in Newport, New Hampshire, Irene was a daughter of the late Severin Peter Rodeschin and Louise Mary Rodeschin.
Irene was head nurse at Roper Hospital for 33 years before retirement.
Irene is survived by her sisters Freida Bourne (Ronald) and Katherine Miller (Francis) and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Maynard, sons David and Brian, brothers Severin, William and Henry, and sister Ruth.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, 11:30am at the Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412. The burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Irene`s memory may be sent to Church of the Nativity and Pet Helpers.
