Heather Elizabeth Rhodes, 39, of Charleston and wife of Rhett Souder, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at her home.
Heather was born on March 20, 1978 in Charleston, SC to Tommy Rhodes and Lynda Rhodes. She enjoyed the pool, the beach, her soap operas and reality shows. Heather lived for her children and family and served her country as a US Navy spouse for 10 years.
In addition to her husband and parents, Heather is survived by her step-mom, Wanda Rhodes; step-dad, Mike Hunter; 4 daughters, Jayci, Calli, Cammi and Faith; 2 sisters, Karen Hannifin (Patrick) and Amy Williams (Colyn); grandmother, Mary Rhodes; 4 nieces, Brianna and Abigail Hannifin and Logan and Jade Williams; and a nephew, Jacob Hannifin. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Heather was preceded in death by a son, Kellan Souder; a grandmother, Jane (Ducky Nana) Southworth; 2 uncles, John Southworth and Lute Rhodes; and an aunt, Millie Rhodes Stevens.
Heather’s family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday, May 5, 2017 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island Chapel. A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held at 6pm on Friday, May 5, 2017.
