Grace Anne Repik

(Grace) Anne McCarty Repik, 95 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Born on November 28, 1927 in Carnegie, PA, Anne was a Daughter of the late Hilda McCarty (Martin) and Eugene McCarty.

Anne lived a full life with her (4) siblings in Pittsburg. She earned her nursing degree from Seaton Hill School of Nursing. Anne married Albert Repik on September 09, 1958 and they moved their family to Charleston in 1963 with his job for Westvaco.

Anne was active in the Lake Sandhurst Association, the Garden Club, St. Joseph’s Church and loved to travel with her husband. Over the years Anne spent time at St. Andrews Recreation Center and the Lowcountry Senior Center where she learned to play Mahjong and met a wonderful group of friends.

Anne is preceded in death by Eugene McCarty (Father), Hilda McCarty (Mother), Mary Hoffman (Sister), Jack McCarty (Brother), Liz Campbell (Sister), Jeanne Seybold (Sister), and her beloved husband Albert. Anne is survived by Karl J. Repik (Son), Robert J. Repik (Son) and wife Meredith, John M. Repik (Son) and wife Hillary, Paul A. Repik (Son) and wife Renee, and her grandchildren whom she deeply loved; Suzanne (Suzy), Scott, Christian Ann, Emily, Ryan, Mac, Ian, and Timothy. “Aunt Annie” is also survived by many
nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2nd, 2023, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - West Ashley, 2501 Bees Ferry Road in Charleston, South Carolina.

The service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd in Charleston, South Carolina. The burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund by check to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd. Charleston SC 29407 or though their online giving portal at saintjosephchas.com.
