Glenna R. Barrineau

Glenna R Barrineau, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, August 1, 2015. She was born on Sunday, August 16, 1931 in Conway, SC to the late Vick Richardson and the late Fred Richardson. Glenna was a graduate of Aynor High School, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and spent over 32 years serving for DSS. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and attending church. Glenna was a longtime member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Aynor, SC. Her family will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend. She is survived by two sons, G. Michael Pratt, of Jacksonville, Fl and Fred Richardson (Janie), of Conway, SC; two brothers, Maxie Richardson (Ruth), of Columbus, GA and Ceif Richardson (Virginia), of Moncks Corner, SC; one sister, Pat Moore, of Aynor, SC; four grandchildren, Sara, Tara, Matt, and Russ; four great grandchildren; one Aunt, Pearl Hill, of Charleston, SC; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Pisgah United Methodist Church, Aynor, SC. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
