Glenn Julian Chaplin Jr., 65 of Ravenel, SC, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.
Born on July 13, 1959, in Charleston, SC, Glenn was the son of Betty Driggers Chaplin and the late Glenn Chaplin.
Glenn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a heavy equipment operator and a skilled tradesman at all crafts. Glenn loved to sit on his porch to watch the cows, turkeys and chickens. He loved all animals and had numerous dogs who were his prized possessions. Glenn enjoyed going to auctions and races. He loved going to the mountains and on cruises with his family. Glenn loved his family, especially his girls, Amanda and Kristal. His family will remember him as a great provider and loving husband, father, and brother.
In addition to his father, Glenn is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Chaplin and Bob Chaplin and niece, Glenda Chaplin.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Debra Chaplin; children: Nicholas Chaplin (Nicole), Bryan Fabre (Emmy) and Amanda Fabre (Michael); grandchildren: Logan Chaplin and Christian Lock; his mother, Betty Chaplin; sisters, Eileen Miller and Alicia Price; and brother-in-law, Billy Lawson (Tracy).
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM at Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Road in Ravenel, SC.
The service will follow at 3:30 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Sauldam Baptist Church.
