Gladys P Meanley, 87, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 after an extended illness.

Gladys was born June 25, 1933 the daughter of Allen Partington, in Bolton, United Kingdom.

Gladys immigrated to the United States in May of 1963. She was vice-president of Union Bank in Los Angeles, CA, retiring in 1995. After retirement Gladys moved to South Carolina to be close to her son and grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and participated in bowling leagues, enjoyed playing golf and loved all sports. Gladys had a very competitive spirit. She also loved to travel and go on cruises. Gladys was always glad to volunteer whenever the occasion arose. Gladys loved to line dance, spending time at the Park Circle dances with friends. She was a member of the Goose Creek Recreation Center. Gladys was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

In addition to her father, Gladys was predeceased by, sister Doreen Axon and two brothers, Allen and David Partington all of the United Kingdom.

Survivors include her son, Paul Meanley of Goose Creek, SC, Paul's fiancé, Kim Nilsson of Charleston, SC, two grandchildren: Kristina Hernandez (Vladimir) of Minneapolis, MN and Steven Meanley of Philadelphia, PA, and former daughter-in-law Maria Meanley.

A private service will be held at a later date.
