Gerald Hoffman

Gerald Bradley Hoffman, 75, was born on September 15, 1948, and passed away peacefully at MUSC in Columbia, SC on May 17, 2024. Gerald was a son of the late Brabham Hoffman Senior and Leila McCollum Hoffman.

Gerald was a Bamberg Ehrhardt graduate, A Vietnam Army Veteran and attended Denmark technical college. He was employed at SC DOT before pursuing a career building drag race cars, body mechanics and car restoration.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Keith Allen Hoffman and Roger Wayne Hoffman.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (Dennis) Reilly; and his son, Roman (Jessica) Hoffman and children. Their mother, Cheryl Hoffman; Sisters, Weita McDonald of Beaufort, Emma Lou Crum of Orangeburg, Ann Blume of Bamberg, and his favorite baby sister Carolyn Collins of Hilda; along with his brother, Brabham Hoffman Jr. Of Bamberg. 

He was known as “Uncle Jerry” to fourteen nieces and nephews. One being a special niece, Sheryl Brown of Beaufort SC.
