Mr. George F. Whaley, 77, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Born on October 9, 1947, in Charleston, SC, George was THE son of the late Rozzie Miller Whaley and the late Melvin Whaley.

George gave his life to Christ and was devoted to his religion and following the Bible. He remained devoted to his career until he retired, embodying a work ethic of diligence and loyalty. George was a thoughtful man with a kind heart and gentle soul. He loved animals, was an avid gardener, planting a variety of crops. He always incorporated Sunflowers into his garden for the bees. He was incredibly smart, enjoyed reading for pleasure but also for learning or perfecting his skill.

George was devoted to his family, always providing guidance and support to his loved ones whenever possible. He took immense pride in sharing his knowledge and was always eager to educate and inspire others. George truly made a significant impact on those around him!

George is survived by his brother, Melvin Whaley and his three nieces: Anna, Lynda, and Lisa.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Brotherly Association Cemetery Skurvin St, Charleston, SC 29405. The burial will be held at Brotherly Cemetery in Charleston, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Helpers Adoption Center and Spay/Neuter Clinic of Charleston, SC.
