Gaynell F. 'Gay' Charette

Gaynell Franks Charette of Moncks Corner, passed away, Thursday, May 19, 2016. Born in Ft. Payne, AL, she was a daughter of the late Curtis R. and Ruby L. Nappier. Ms. Charette is survived by 6 children; Debra L. Gould of VA, Robert Jones of Summerville, Gary Taylor of Goose Creek, Ronald Jordan of Moncks Corner, Scott Jordan of TN and Jenifer Villeponteaux of Moncks Corner; a brother, James Nappier; 3 sisters, Vivian Petit, Patricia Blackmore and Sylvia Wolford. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Gronski; two brothers and five sisters. A private graveside service will be held in Florence, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Arrangements entrusted to McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel.
