Gayle Lynn Brennan

Gayle Lynn Brennan, 75 of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024.

Born on December 13, 1948 in Rock Island, Illinois was a daughter of the late Norma Miner Hallin and Glen Hallin.

Gayle had an accomplished career throughout her adult life through retirement in 2018, taking her to Chicago, New Jersey, Virginia and most recently, Charleston, South Carolina where she resided with her daughter, Amy, in Mount Pleasant. Gayle of course could not sit still for long and worked part time for her longtime employer, Management Concepts from 2020 until July 2023. She was a friend to so many and her kindness and compassion for others was felt by all. Gayle loved interior design and furnished many beautiful homes which was a hobby she always enjoyed with Amy. She also enjoyed Hallmark movie marathons, and snuggles with the family Cavapoo, Quinn.

Gayle was diagnosed with ALS in June 2023 and fought a hard battle with an incurable disease that she one day hoped others will never have to endure.

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Edward Brennan.

Gayle is survived by her daughter, Amy Brennan and beloved cousins and their families in the Quad Cities of Illinois.
