Gabriel 'Gabe' Seagraves

Gabriel “Gabe” Seagraves, 15, of James Island, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015. Gabriel was born on September 10, 2000 in Gastonia, NC to Aaron Seagraves and Kimberly Lancaster. He was a student at James Island Charter High School. Gabe’s dream was to become an astronomer who could reach for the stars. In his free time Gabriel enjoyed reading, drawing, animals, skateboarding and music. His family will remember him as a witty animal whisper with a heart of gold. Gabe was one of a kind and proud to be a ginger. In addition to his parents, Gabriel is survived by his brothers, Christopher Stevens II, Brendan Stevens, Sebastian Seagraves and Cain Seagraves; his sister, Arianna Seagraves; grandmothers, Barbara Schmidt and Angela Williams. He also will be remembered by his friends who were like brothers. A Celebration of Life service will be at 6 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island Chapel. The family will receive friends before and after the service from 5-8 PM.
