Frederick C. Moser

Frederick C. Moser, 97, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. 

Born on September 20, 1926, in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Caroline Broestler Moser and the late Frederick Moser.

Fred retired from AT&T after a 35-year career. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Fred served in the US Navy and was a World War II and Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Greatest Generation.

In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Pamela Moser.

Fred is survived by his wife, Claire Moser; son, Richard Moser (Sharon); son, Kenneth Moser (Rhonda); granddaughters: Mary Claire Henseler (Cole) and Sarah Plowden (Sam); and great-grandson, Hayes Henseler.

The memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
