Frederick E. Swanson, 72, of Ladson , SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
He was born on November 2, 1945 in Mt. Upton, NY, son of Dorothy Griffing Swanson and Henry Swanson.
Frederick is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Lytchfield of Moncks Corner, SC; his son, Arthur Swanson of Cary, NC; and loving companion, Patricia Swanson of Goose Creek, South Carolina SC.
Frederick was a retired US Air Force Veteran who served our country faithfully. He was a generous philanthropist who passionately supported the VFW, Lowcountry Food Bank among other organizations who support US Veterans. He was a proud College of Charleston Alumni and donor. He strongly supported equal opportunity of college education.

There will be an interment ceremony for Frederick with full military honors at the Beaufort National Cemetery at 1601 Boundary Street Beaufort SC 29902 on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
