Francisco C. Mendoza

Francisco C. Mendoza, 76, of Goose Creek, husband to Zenaida Mendoza, died October 22, 2015. Born in Pampanga, Philippines, he was the son of the late Galo and Baselisa Mendoza. Francisco joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country for over twenty years before retiring and beginning his second career as a Train Conductor at the Naval Weapons Station. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and very active in the community. He is survived by his wife, Zenaida Mendoza; son, Michael Mendoza of Goose Creek; daughter, Theresa Little and husband Roger of Goose Creek; grandson, Oscar Lee Little of Goose Creek; sister, Pines Rodriguez of Winnetka, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Goose Creek. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston. The family will receive friends Monday, October 26, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL.
