It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Florence Fisher Neary at age 72.
She was born on April 7th, 1948 to Richard and Edna Fitzpatrick Fisher. She was an only child that blessed her parents late in their lives. At the age of 22, on June 21st, 1970, she married the love of her life, Thomas Neary. For 50 amazing years, they created a life and shared a love that was inspiring.
Florence was a graduate of the Academy of Our Lady of Good Council. She then went on to study nursing at D'Youville College and graduated with her RN degree. Florence worked for many years as a nurse and then furthered her career by studying to become an OBGYN nurse practitioner. Through this role, she cared for so many people.
Beyond her professional career, Florence was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Her favorite role in life was that of grandma. Her four grandchildren brought her joy each and every day. Florence also made friends everywhere she went, from right next door to oceans away. She had so many people in her life that she loved, and that loved her right back.
Florence is survived by her loving husband Tom, her daughter Catherine (Kate) and husband Brian LaSusa, her son Michael and wife Brenda Neary, her grandchildren, Hannah Lynn and Christopher Joseph LaSusa, Brayden Robert and Keira Rose Neary, her brother in law Paul and wife Cathy and many true friends that were more like family.
